Tesha Moore

What i love about Tesha Moore's artwork is that its so brightly textured and fun. her drawing and collages are so strange and weird to look at which is on the same sort of lines which i am trying to achieve. with her quirky but meaningful quotes i think is such a great contrast, its bright its bold its strange and pretty all at the same time. i like how all of her work has such a deep meaning behind it, and although sometimes it can be a very dark meaning she portrays it in such an acceptable balance with the way she uses her colours, shapes, and textures. Although most of he work is textiles base, i would still like to achieve the same sort of feel when people look at her work.

i will be thinking about different ways to lay my collage out, the colours to use to create an effective observation that will make people attracted but disturbed at the same time.

I also like how she can make something from an original collage piece, also how she can use house hold objects within her work. her work can sometimes reflect her life or just life in general, with so much detail it can leave you wondering what it all means, it can sometimes seem like a hidden metaphore, she lets her work speak for itself and this allows people to create there own meaning behind it.

she enjoys the process of her work more than her final outcome. she is inspired from children's  books to graphic design books. I enjoy her fantasy elements i think its a way for her to escape from everyday life. she has a variety of different doodles and patterns which i think makes her work more crafty and expresses a home made feel.

i usually create lots of different doodles and patterns which is also another reason why i thnk i take a like to her work. although i do my doodles in black pen to create a very bold contrast against coloured backgrounds i still think that this could fit perfectly to create the same bold look. also i could always tr using colour and a variety of different materials to try find a way where it works for me.
