miss matched colourful and how adults now dress i can understand why our reactions and the way we act changes over the years but why is it the way we dressed have to change, is it because we dress what we think is socially appropriate or is it our tastes change and we no longer want to run around in a dress a wellies. can you imagine how it would be if people dressed like that everyday to work it would be hilarious, only it wouldn't, because if that was the way we wouldn't know any different and it wouldn't be strange or weird it would be the everyday norm.
with my volunteers i will be encouraging them to dress silly, how they think kids dress, and see what they would choose and why.
kids are not afraid of getting messy! as we get older we become so obsessed about the way we look and how others think, if we are in fashion. you don't seem to care as much what other people think when you are a child. if a chile wants to run around in a pair of willies with a dress they dont think twice about it.
in this image above you can see that this child looks normally dressed it is not weird to see a kid dressed like this. but would you wear tis with the age you are now? most people would say no. but why?
look at how differently you dress now compared to what you use to wear when you were little. why is it that suits and ties are seen as smart and more acceptable for a work environment?
